I am an African-American author and motivational speaker. I was born on February 9, 1980, in Galveston, Texas, and published my first book at the age of 36. I have four kids, aged 21 to 26, and all of them live in Texas City. I was involved in the streets and crime, going to prison three times before I turned 29. After serving three years in prison, I attended college, graduated from welding school, and earned a degree from Bible college as the salutatorian with perfect attendance.
