Dimetrious Woods, Sr., known as Motivated Meech, is originally from St. Louis and has spent the last seven years outside of prison building a rich and fulfilling life in Columbia. He owns local favorites such as Woods Auto Spa, Essentialz Bodegas, Motivated The Brand, and Munchi’s Fish & Chicc’n. While Dimetrious is fully motivated to hustle, he has always made time to give back to the community and is inspired by the people who supported him. In 2007, Dimetrious was convicted of drug trafficking and spent 11 years behind bars before his release in 2018. He was granted clemency in 2020 and a full pardon in 2024, issued by then-Governor Parsons. Since gaining his freedom, Dimetrious has worked hard to provide stability and consistency, creating jobs in Columbia while stepping up as a strong Black male figure for us all.
